Vauxhall's chunky new SUV-inspired Insignia Country Tourer is available to order now with prices starting from £25,349.
The Insignia Country Tourer, which made its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show last week, is based on the existing Sports Tourer model, but with all-wheel drive, higher ground clearance and black plastic cladding.
There will be two trim levels: Country Tourer and Country Tourer Nav, the latter of which carries an £1,150 premium over the standard model but which also includes an eight-inch touchscreen sat-nav, an eight-inch digital instrument cluster and a multi-function touchpad controller. All Vauxhall Insignia Country Tourers, meanwhile, come with rear parking sensors, bi-xenon adaptive headlights and a powered tailgate.
Both models come with a choice of two 2.0-litre diesel engines: a 161bhp unit with start-stop and a 192bhp BiTurbo engine. The less powerful engine is available with a choice between six-speed manual and six-speed automatic gearboxes, while the higher-powered engine is available with the automatic 'box only.
The first deliveries of the Insignia Country Tourer are due in January 2014.
