Toyota has announced that it will be unveiling several new models at next week's Frankfurt Motor Show.

Making their first public appearances in Frankfurt will be the new Avensis and full hybrid Prius ranges, the new Hilux pick-up, and the three-door version of the recently launched new Toyota Yaris.

The UK-manufactured Avensis has received a styling makeover, with its revised front end brought into line with the current Toyota design trend. The interior has also been improved, and revisions made to its engines and driving dynamics in an effort to keep the model fresh.

The new Prius range will also make its public debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The full hybrid model has been updated, and is now joined in the model range by a Prius Plug-in hybrid along with the 7-seater Prius+. Toyota claim the Prius Plug-in Hybrid could offer CO2 emissions as low as 49g/km. The Prius+ has the distinction of being the first fully hybrid 7-seater, and emits under 100g/km of CO2.

The Toyota Hilux pick-up will also be unveiled in Frankfurt, giving a public showing of the styling and interior changes introduced to the model ahead of a sale launch in 2012.

Completing Toyota's line up of new models, is the 3-door Yaris, which will be making its world premiere. The new Yaris was released earlier this year in 5-door form.

The Frankfurt Motor Show opens on 13th September.
