Volkswagen are celebrating after the all-new Touran received top marks in crash safety tests.

Euro NCAP awarded the new model an overall five-star rating after conducting the latest round of crash testing.

On sale in the UK from December priced from £22,240, the all-new Volkswagen Touran family MPV boasts an optimised body structure and highly effective belt, seat, and airbag system, which helped the new model perform exceptionally well in the adult occupant protection, child occupant protection, pedestrian protection, and safety assistance categories.

Safety features include driver and front passenger airbags, knee airbag, head airbag system for both front and rear seat passengers, side airbags, electronic stability control, ABS with brake assist, automatic post-collision braking, tyre pressure monitoring system, and Driver Alert.
