As the economic turmoil continues across the continent, new car sales for June were down on the same period in 2011.
However, there is light at the end of the tunnel it seems; the decline in new car sales across Europe seems to be slowing, and VW, Audi and BMW all reported increased sales compared to the same period in 2011.
This might not seem overtly relevant, especially considering that the UK market isn't doing all that badly at the moment; however, we're constantly being reminded how an economic slump in one country can affect the whole of the Eurozone. Plus, it's fun to have a look at which cars our continental cousins are buying.
