The Nissan Micra Nismo was unveiled at the 2012 Tokyo Auto Salon this week as the most recent in a growing line of tuned Nissan concept cars.

A busy few months for Nismo, the Nissan tuning team, has seen the rolling out of the Juke Nismo Concept, the 370Z Nismo Concept, and the Leaf Nismo Concept.

The Nissan Micra has now been subjected to the Nismo treatment and the results are likely to be similar to those produced by the team towards the end of last year.

No performance figures have been released yet but the styling is bold and aggressive, a far cry from the conservative aesthetics of the current Micra. The additions include light weight alloys, a spoiler, a new grille, and a sleekly applied red and white colour scheme, similar to that seen on the Juke Nismo.

Inside the Micra Nismo, there’s a custom steering wheel, sports seats, and a high quality interior trim. To match the looks, the tuned Micra will be benefitting from lowered suspension and a set of high performance tyres to wrap around those alloys.
