Suzuki has unveiled its new global city car at the Auto Expo in New Delhi. Called the Celerio, the new model will replace the Alto in the Suzuki lineup.

Unfortunately, Suzuki has revealed very little information about the new car other than that it will feature a "roomy interior for an A-segment car" and have low CO2 emissions.

It has also yet to be revealed what engine will be fitted to the new car; however, it seems likely that the 67bhp 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine from the Alto will be used.

Suzuki already builds a Celerio for the Indian market and it seems likely that the European car will share the Indian car's underpinnings.

The Celerio will be making its European debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month and will go on sale in the UK in 2015.
