Skoda have announced plans for a sporty new version of the Karoq compact SUV.
The Skoda Karoq SportLine will be unveiled at the 2018 Paris Motor Show in October.
The SportLine version will be the only Karoq to be powered by a 187bhp 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine, and will be further distinguished by sports bumpers, exclusive 19-inch Vega black polished alloys wheels, SportLine-branded front mudguards, and black accents. Inside are black sports seats with contrasting silver stitching, upholstered with three-ply air-permeable Thermoflux fabric. The multifunction sports steering wheel is covered with perforated black leather with silver stitching, stainless steel elements on the pedal, black headliner, black roof pillars, and LED ambient lighting.
Another option available on the Karoq SportLine will be Skoda’s Virtual Cockpit, which will feature a fifth display mode showing the rev counter and the current speed in the centre.
Full pricing and specification for the Skoda Karoq SportLine will follow.
