SEAT’s new flagship SUV model, the Tarraco, has entered production at Volkswagen’s Wolfsburg plant.

It will be produced at the Wolfsburg plant alongside Volkswagen’s Tiguan and Touran models, and is the first time a SEAT model has been assembled at the Volkswagen Group’s main facility for two decades.  The last SEAT produced in Wolfsburg was the Arosa model, produced between 1996 and 1998.

With production now underway, the SEAT Tarraco will go on sale early next year, joining the Ateca and Arona models to complete the brand’s SUV line up.
