Imagine the scenario. You're driving through slow moving traffic and a car in the next lane wants to merge in front of you.
You have two options. You can slow down and wave the driver in, or you can stick like glue to the bumper of the car in front, (this latter method is known as the 'Audi technique'.)

A quick glimpse around our video section will reveal the problem. Road rage is a Russian epidemic, and some drivers in the former Soviet republic will think nothing of pointing a gun in your face or attacking you with a baseball bat if you've angered them on the roads.

The problem is a lack of effective law enforcement and a failure to crack down on road rage offences. It is also alleged that the Russian police are corrupt, regularly taking bribes, and that offenders are rarely prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

Because the roads are so dangerous, dashboard cameras are hugely popular in Russia, as drivers want cold hard evidence to be used in the event of an altercation. The upside of this is that there's a wealth of hilarious, and often shocking, video clips of Russian road rage floating around on the net.
