An immaculate 1972 Lamborghini Miura SV will be the undoubted star of the Silverstone Classic Live Online Auction at the end of this month.
Just 94 examples of the split sump SV models were produced towards the end of the Miura’s original seven-year production run.
The example offered for sale includes Rosso Corsa paintwork, optional factory-fitted air conditioning, limited-slip differential and a radio pack. One of just nine right-hand drive SV spec Miura’s produced, it was exported to Australia shortly after being bought by its first owner. Owned by a Lamborghini enthusiast for 29 years, the car was acquired by Lamborghini Australia on his passing in 2004 and treated to an AU$80,000 refurbishment which included a total rebuild of the suspension and running gear.
The next owner rebuilt the engine with just under 32,000 miles on the clock, and in the past decade only a further 356 miles have been added to that total. It has since been professionally repainted in its original Rosso Corsa finish.
The Muira SV will go under the hammer in the Silverstone Classic Live Online event which takes place on the 31 July and 1 August.
