Q30 joins ever-expanding Infiniti line up | New Release - Car News Jan 2016

A month after entering production, deliveries for the UK-built Infiniti Q30 are underway.

The Q30, awarded best-in-class “small family car” 2015 by Euro NCAP, joins Infiniti’s rapidly-expanding UK range, with the QX30 due to follow it off the Sunderland production line from this Spring.

Then, in the summer, the 3.0 V6 Infiniti Q60 sports coupe unveiled at this month’s Detroit motor show, is also expected to go on UK sale.

Infiniti are expanding their UK dealer network to meet increased demand for its new larger range. Currently, the mid-sized Q50 accounts for 70 per cent of all Infiniti’s sold in this country, with sales across the brand up by 60 per cent last year.

Carl Bayliss, Regional Director for the UK commented “2015 was an excellent year for Infiniti. Not only in terms of sales but we are starting to build the foundations and plans for the new products arriving in the next 12 months. It is going to be another very exciting year for Infiniti in the UK.”
