Peugeot has today released details of a further addition to its range of HYbrid4 vehicles.

The diesel-hybrid Peugeot 508 RXH is powered by a 200bhp 2.0-litre diesel engine, but has the capability of operating in a 100% electric mode. Combined fuel returns are 67.2mpg, and CO2 emissions are 109g/km.

Styling wise, the Peugeot 508 RXH has many of the signature features of recent releases by the French manufacturer, including a face incorporating a floating grille and LED running lights.

The 508 RXH is due to benefit from a high specification interior, and will feature the keyless Peugeot Open & Go system, electric front seats, head up display, 18-inch alloy wheels, panoramic roof, dark-tinted side windows, and premium audio and satellite navigation as standard equipment.

Full specification details including pricing structure are to be confirmed by Peugeot at a later date, with the model scheduled for sale launch in Spring next year. The Peugeot 508 RXH will be seen in the flesh for the first time at the Frankfurt International Motor Show this September.
