Engine upgrades announced this week by Nissan mean the whole of its award-winning Navara pick up range is now Euro 6 emissions compliant.
As a result of the changes, CO2 emissions for the Navara are now as low as 159g/km while fuel economy is now 46.3mpg combined. The upgrades has seen the addition of a Selective Catalytic Reduction system designed to lower the amount of nitrogen oxides, while an AdBlue tank has also been added.
Other enhancements to the Navara range include a fuel-saving Idle-Stop System as standard on all manual models, and all models now boast a colour combimeter, cruise control with speed limiter, Bluetooth hands-free audio and multi-function steering wheel controls. Depending on the model, Gross Vehicle Weight is up by 25-35kg, kerb weight by 5-38kg, but the one-tonne payload and 3.5-tonne towing capacity remain unchanged.
Available in either Double Cab or King Cab form, options on the Navara include Around View Monitor and Forward Emergency Braking, while all models come with a 5-year, 100,000-mile transferrable warranty.
