Nissan has announced that it will be previewing its new NV400 at the Commercial Vehicle Show next month.
According to the manufacturer, the new chassis cab range will give the firm one of the largest LCV ranges in the UK.
In addition to debuting its latest range, Nissan will also be giving details of its new vehicle bodybuilder strategy.
As well as showcasing the NV400 chassis cab, Nissan will also be revealing a 'Good To Go' range of conversions and two factory built vehicles all of which come with a manufacturer warranty.
The 'Good To Go' range includes a box van, Luton and fridge van as well as a combi and minibus option. These will be sold to operators, via dealers, in an operation-ready state. Nissan claims this will remove the need for converting a chassis cab through an external supplier.
The NV400 chassis cab has a mid and long wheelbase, in both front and rear wheel drive. Factory conversions of the model, of which there are 13 variants, will include dropside and tipper.
Commenting on the new model, James Douglas, Nissan Motor GB's corporate sales director, said:
"The CV Show is a great platform to launch our new NV400 chassis cab and remind operators that Nissan has one of the widest LCV ranges on offer in the UK."
"With the NV400 semi forward van based chassis cab and the Cabstar truck chassis cab Nissan has two base vehicles that operators can use to build virtually any size or shape of conversion to match their business requirements. We believe this will help further grow our LCV sales in 2012."
Nissan also recently announced the launch of an all-new compact car. The INVITATION will be available from 2013.
