Nissan's new Friend-Me concept has made its European debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The Friend-Me is a four-seater saloon concept which has been created as part of a collaboration between the design teams from Nissan's Global Design Centre and Nissan Design China, and was first shown at the Shanghai Motor Show earlier this year.
Nissan claims that the Friend-Me "showcases Nissan's next-generation design language and explores the possibilities of a fully-connected, fully-interactive cabin."
With what Nissan describes as a "bold, dynamic look," the Friend-Me's front-end is dominated by a large V-shaped grille with LED headlamps that incorporate a boomerang-shaped lighting signature. The Friend-Me also gets new 20-inch five-spoke alloy wheels and gloss black aero vanes which help to smooth the airflow around the car.
The Friend-Me also gets a floating roof and shallow glass area, while at the rear end there are, again, boomerang-shaped rear light clusters.
On the inside, Nissan claims that the four individual lounge-style seats "deliver maximum comfort and safety levels to passengers." The cabin is dominated by a centre console which runs the entire length of the cabin, containing a screen for each passenger. This allows passengers to share information, pictures and music from their mobile devices and also gives the occupants real-time information about the car's status and performance.
