Images which appear to show the upcoming McLaren 650S, which is set to make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month, have appeared online.
Until now, the only official image from McLaren of the new 650S was a wantonly ambiguous teaser shot of the car's badge; however, the images you see here appear to give us our first taste of what the car will actually look like.
As predicted, the 650S features a front end heavily influenced by the design of the McLaren P1 but with a rear end more akin to that of the car on which it is based, the 12C.
There's no official word yet on what will power the 650S; however, it is thought that the car will be powered by a tuned version of the 12C's 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8. The name is also thought to refer to the car's 650ps (641bhp) power output -- an increase of 25bhp over the 12C.
Prices have yet to be confirmed but we're expecting the 650S to carry a significant premium over the 12C, with prices starting from around the £200k mark.
We'll keep you updated with all of the developments in the run-up to Geneva.
