The all-new Fiat Fullback pick-up truck will make its UK premiere at next week’s NEC Commercial Vehicle Show.
The medium-duty Fullback will join the Fiat Professional range in June, and with the UK spec featuring a double cab option the manufacturer is hoping the model will appeal to business and leisure customers alike. Fiat are joining a growing market sector, with pick-up sales in the UK up by 18% last year.
Powered by a brace of 2.4-litre aluminium turbo-diesel engines producing 150bhp or 180bhp, and with six-speed manual and five-speed auto gearbox options, the Fullback offers a payload of 1,045kg. Two trims levels will available in the UK, with specification and pricing to be confirmed closer to the sale launch.
Ricky McFarland of FIAT Professional UK said: “The new Fullback provides us with an exciting opportunity in the growing pick-up truck segment and together with the arrival of the new Talento and new Fiorino models in June, joining the rest of the award-winning FIAT Professional range, we are confident of attracting new fleets and retail customers by providing them with one of the strongest product line-ups in the market today.”
