BMW have added a new Competition Package to their M4 Saloon, M4 Coupe, and M4 Convertible models which sees power output jump to 450bhp.
Chassis tuning and that 19bhp power increase headline the suite of upgrades which sees overall performance improve, with the BMW M3 Saloon and M4 Coupe now capable of 0-62mph in 4 seconds flat when chosen with the optional 7-speed M Double Clutch transmission, and 4.3 seconds for the M4 Convertible.
The new package includes tuned Adaptive M Suspension with new springs, dampers, anti-roll bars, and reconfigured driving modes, while the Active M Differential on the rear axle and Dynamic Stability Control have also been reconfigured. Machine-polished, lightweight20-inch M alloy wheels complete the list of chassis upgrades.
On BMW M3 and M4 Coupe models, the Competition Package adds special lightweight M sports seats, and seatbelts in-woven with BMW M stripes.
Exterior highlights of the new package include M sports exhaust with black chrome tailpipes and high-gloss Shadow Line exterior trim.
Meanwhile, the new 500bhp BMW M4 GTS will now be available with unique BMW M Carbon Compound wheels.
