Aston Martin is producing a new car to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the DB4GT Zagato.
The new V12 Zagato revives the partnership between Aston Martin and the Italian company which is now in its 50th year.
The CEO of Aston Martin, Dr Ulrich Bez said: “The Zagato design language is a perfect complement to our design and engineering expertise. After 50 years of the two companies being associated with each other the partnership has produced some of the world's most iconic cars."
Until now, Aston Martin and Zagato had produced three cars: the original DB4GT Zagato in 1961, the V8 Zagato in 1986 and the DB7 Zagato in 2002.
The new V12 Zagato will feature a handcrafted aluminium body and a tuned version of Aston’s 6.0-litre V12 engine, producing 510bhp. The car will also come with a 120-litre racing fuel tank.
