Two cars with rock star pedigree are to headline Classic Car Auctions’ two-day sale at the Birmingham NEC on 24-25 March.
A Mercedes-Benz owned for over three decades by Barry Gibb is expected to generate a great deal of interest. The Merc is fitted with optional hydraulic self-levelling rear suspension, has covered just 59,000 miles, and comes with a bundle of paperwork including work invoiced personally to the Bee Gees legend.
Joining it in the sale is a BMW bought new by Status Quo frontman Francis Rossi in 1995. The automatic model, owned by Rossi for 17 years, is expected to fetch between £7,000 and £9,000.
“It would be a tragedy to miss the opportunity to own either of these cars, previously owned by two of the biggest names in the music industry”, quipped Richard Greenhalgh of Classic Car Auctions.
“So, whatever you want, Classic Car Auctions has an extensive range of models for auction at our March sale. All tastes and budgets are catered for and we look forward to seeing you at the NEC in Birmingham.”
