Mitsubishi’s L200 was the UK’s most popular pick-up truck last month.

In fact, new figures show that the L200 accounted for almost a third of all pick-ups sold in the UK so far this year.

A total of 1,237 L200’s were sold in January, almost twice the number sold in January 2018, showing that the models popularity is still on the rise. The past 12 months has seen the Mitsubishi L200 collect a fourth consecutive Auto Express Pick-up of the Year award, along with being named Best Pick-up by both Carbuyer and Parkers.

Last month saw the Mitsubishi L200 Barbarian Black Edition go on UK sale. Just 500 examples will be produced for the UK, featuring black wheels, black detailing, and a choice of rear load area accessory. The L200 Barbarian Black Edition is priced from £30,500 CV OTR.
