The MG3 has reached a significant milestone, with the 15,000th example being handed over to its new owner.

Launched in 2013 and facelifted in September last year, the supermini has been the backbone of MG’s continued growth in recent years.

Spalding-based MG dealer WH Brand had the honour of handing over the keys to the 15,000th MG3 sold in the UK to new owner Bethany Mason.

Priced from £9,495 on-the-road, the MG3 has three trim levels - Explore, Excite and Exclusive – all of which come with Bluetooth, six airbags, and hill hold control as standard.  Mid-range Excite models add an 8-inch colour touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, DAB radio and 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels to that equipment list.

Range-topping Exclusive trim includes sports seats, cruise control, and a reversing camera with dynamic guide lines.  All MG3s come with a 7-year/80,000-mile warranty, and with a range of offers including PCP deposit contributions of up to £1,250, monthly payments from as little as £149, and up to £2,500 off when trading in a car of more than seven years old under the MG Swappage scheme.
