MG sales growth enters 20th month | Car Talk - Car News Jul 2019

MG sales grew by almost a quarter last month, the twentieth month in succession that the Longbridge-based carmaker has increased its UK sales figures.

A total of 1,078 MGs were sold in June, an increase of 24% on the same month last year, ending a first half of the year that saw MG record an overall growth in UK sales compared to the same period in 2018.
MG plan to expand their dealer network to 120 over the next 18 months as they strive to meet the demand from UK car buyers.

The company are also joining the ever-growing ranks of manufacturers offering electric power with the introduction of the new MG ZS EV.  The company’s first electric car, it is powered by a 44.5 kWh water-cooled battery and boasts rapid-charging capability.
