MG achieved record sales last month as showrooms returned to full opening.

A total of 1,846 new MGs were sold last month, a whopping 78% increase on July 2019.

Despite the coronavirus disruptions, MG has enjoyed a successful 2020 so far with UK sales up by almost a third and the brand’s market share almost doubled.  So far MG has sold 9,558 new cars, more than the total for the whole of 2018, and more than the total for the 2016 and 2017 combined.
MG’s two newest cars, the all-electric MG ZS EV and the MG HS SUV, have been an instant hit, with more than 3,500 combined sales this year.  Two more electrified models are to join the line up later this year, the all-new MG5 EV and the MG HS Plug-in, while the MG dealer network has continued to expand.  There are now 110 dealer locations, with more to come in the next few months.
