A £2,000 minimum part exchange offer on new MG3 and MG6 models has been announced by the manufacturer.

The offer comes hot on the heels of a similar £2,000 scrappage scheme from rivals Vauxhall, and will see MG customers able to take advantage of at least £2,000 towards selected new models when they part exchange their old car at MG retailers, regardless of make or model.

The MG3 range starts from £8,399, with the MG6 range starting from £13,995, and while the £2,000 minimum part exchange offer is not available in conjunction with MG’s current 0% finance or deposit contribution deals it can be used with one of the manufacturer’s Personal Contract Purchase plans.

Matthew Cheyne, MG’s Head of Sales and Marketing, said: “We think this is easily our best offer yet.  Those looking for an outstanding deal, as well as the opportunity to join an iconic brand, are sure to fall in love with our range like our existing customers have. “An offer this great might not be repeated again, so now is the time to snap it up and take this opportunity to get your hands on a great brand new car with more specification than you can imagine at a price that won’t bust your budget.”
