McLaren has released the first teaser image of the new P12 supercar, ahead of its launch at the Paris Motor Show.

Unfortunately, the picture tells you the square root of diddly-squat about what the successor to the legendary F1 supercar will actually look like.

Honestly, we thought Mercedes were being pretentious when they released a silhouette of the new S-Class, but this has to take the biscuit. If you stare at the image for about an hour, you might just be able to discern the P12's front end, but that's about it. They may as well have released a photo of Ben Nevis.

Anyway, enough ranting; the new P12 will be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show later this month, and we'll keep you updated with all the developments as they happen.
