The new Mazda 6 estate has been unveiled ahead of its debut at the Paris Motor Show later this month.

The new estate version of the 6 joins the saloon variant which was launched at the Moscow Motor Show in the Mazda 6 line-up.

Two engines will be on offer in the new 6 -- a SKYACTIV-D 2.2-litre diesel engine and a SKYACTIV-G 2.0-litre petrol engine. The diesel will be available in both Standard Power and High Power versions, and both will comply with Euro6 emissions standards.

Like the saloon derivative, the 6 Estate features Mazda's new 'KODO - Soul in Motion' design language. Pretentious marketing twaddle aside though, you'd have to agree that the car's a looker.

The Mazda 6 Estate will be unveiled in Paris on Thursday 27th September.
