Pictures of the new Mazda Hazumi concept have appeared online ahead of the car's public unveiling at next week's Geneva Motor Show.
Following on from a teaser shot which was released officially by Mazda last week, the new images appear to show the car in full for the first time.
Featuring a design inspired by Mazda's current Kodo design language, the Hazumi features traditional supermini proportions, with a high waistline, narrow glass house and huge wheels with painted tyres. A prominent rear spoiler is also included.
It's understood that the Hazumi offers a glimpse at how the next generation Mazda 2 will look.
Mazda claims the name Hazumi, which means "bound" or "spring up" in Japanese, is "well-suited to a small car that appears to be bursting with energy."
The Hazumi concept will be shown at Geneva alongside a display celebrating 25 years of the Mazda MX-5.
