Mazda is set to unveil its latest concept, the Hazumi, at the Geneva Motor Show. Although yet to be confirmed, the new car is thought to preview the next-generation Mazda 2.
Unfortunately, Mazda has yet to release any official information on the car; however, the teaser image shows that the new model will feature Mazda's Kodo design language, which is already in use on the larger Mazda 3, 6 and CX-5.
The Japanese manufacturer claims the name Hazumi, which means "bound" or "spring up" in Japanese, is "well-suited to a small car that appears to be bursting with energy."
Alongside the Hazumi, Mazda will also be unveiling its new SKYACTIV-D 1.5, a new small-displacement clean diesel engine. Much of the Mazda stand will also be devoted to celebrating the Mazda MX-5, which is 25 years old this year.
