Lexus will unveil its new LF-CC concept at next week's Paris Motor Show.
The LF-CC follows on from the LF-LC concept shown at the Detroit Motor Show earlier this year, and previews how the next-generation IS might look.
Under the bonnet, the LF-CC is equipped with a 2.5-litre full-hybrid powertrain which Lexus claims is destined for use in future models. Target CO2 emissions are below 100g/km, and Lexus maintains that this will make the new IS the most efficient model in its class.
No power figures have been released as yet; however, Lexus claims that the new car will develops 2bhp per g/km of CO2, suggesting a power output north of 200bhp.
Externally, the LF-CC features the latest evolution of Lexus's 'L-finesse' design language, with the company's spindle-shaped grille taking prominence. In addition to this, the LF-CC gets three-LED headlamp units and separate daytime running lights.
On the inside, the LF-CC gets amber-coloured leather and soft-touch materials, along with a multi-display screen set for at-a-glance viewing.
