This is the Lexus LF-NX concept which made has made its world debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Designed to provide an idea of what a mid-sized Lexus crossover vehicle could look like, the LF-NX will explore the potential for this sort of car in the Lexus range.

The LF-NX's styling is dominated by a huge reinterpretation of Lexus' signature spindle grille and headlamp arrangement. The daytime-running lamps are positioned independently from the headlamps and underscored by new full-length LED indicators.

Underneath, the LF-NX is fitted with a 1.5-litre petrol engine mated to an electric motor. At low speeds the car can be driven on electric power alone.

Lexus has not revealed any plans to put the LF-NX into production; however, if the car does make it past the drawing board it will sit under the RX450h in the Lexus line-up, competing with the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLA.

So, would you like to see the LF-NX make it into production? Comment below.
