Lewis Hamilton has become F1's seventh winner in seven races, winning his first Grand Prix of the season in Montreal.
Hamilton took the victory after his two closest rivals -- Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel -- were slowed due to rapidly degrading tyres. Vettel was forced to pit for tyres while Alonso soldiered on, losing ground to Lotus's Romain Grosjean and Sauber's Sergio Perez, who finished second and third, respectively. Vettel finished fourth and Alonso managed to scrape a fifth-place finish ahead of Mercedes's Nico Rosberg. Mark Webber, Kimi Raikonnen, Kamui Kobayashi and Felipe Massa all finished in the points.
The win puts Hamilton first in the Driver's Championship, three points clear of Fernando Alonso.
Hamilton's team-mate Jenson Button had another very poor race, managing a lowly sixteenth-place finish from tenth on the grid. Michael Schumacher was forced to retire after his DRS wing jammed open.
Red Bull still lead the Constructor's Championship, 31 points clear of nearest rivals, McLaren.
The next race in the F1 calendar is the European Grand Prix in Valencia in two weeks' time.
