Land Rover Defender SX gets new option packs | Geneva - Car News Feb 2014

Land Rover has announced it will unveil two new option packs for the Defender at the Geneva Motor Show next month -- the Black Pack and the Silver Pack.

Available on Defender XS models, the new Black Pack features a Santorini black finish on the roof, grille, grille surround, headlamp surrounds, wheel arches, Defender bonnet script and interior fascia. Privacy glass and ebony headlining is also included, alongside two new alloy wheels designs.

The Silver Pack, meanwhile, features a silver roof and detailing and comes with Dual Finish alloy wheels as standard and white tail and indicator lights.

Defender XS models are also now available with a raft of optional extras, including a new aluminium finish to the side runners, contrast finish leather seats, privacy glass and the black headlining which is included as standard on the Black Pack.

Land Rover has also announced that the 130 wheelbase Defender will be offered with ABS for the first time from later this year. The 90 and 110 models are already fitted with ABS and stability control as standard.
