Jeep has released a new limited edition range of vehicles (launched in the UK yesterday) to celebrate the legendary brand’s 75th Anniversary.
All of the special edition versions feature exclusive branding, high levels of standard equipment, premium styling details, unique green paint finishes (other colours are available) and unique ‘75th Anniversary’ badging.
Just 8,000 of the 75th Anniversary edition cars will be built for the whole of the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region.
The first models to arrive in the UK will be the special editions of the Jeep Renegade and the iconic Cherokee. The most awarded SUV ever, the Grand Cherokee, and the ‘go anywhere, do anything’ Wrangler will follow later in the year.
It is time for a double celebration for Jeep as April saw their best sales figures since 1997, with 1,303 new cars sold. This represents a staggering 115% leap in sales compared to April 2015. This actually makes Jeep the fastest growing brand in the UK.
With 1,058 units sold, the Jeep Renegade remains by far the most popular model in the range.
Damien Dally, head of brand, Jeep UK said: “2016 is a very special year for Jeep, not only are we celebrating our 75th anniversary, but we are also celebrating some truly fantastic sales milestones for the brand. Last month we saw the best ever March result for Jeep and this month we’re seeing Jeep’s popularity continue to grow with even more positive results.”
