Normally when a car manufacturer releases a video showcasing its new car, it's a thirty-second trailer with a few arty shots of the motor in question followed by some pretentious marketing-speak strapline. They don't make you want to buy the car any more, but they do make you want to throw up heavily into a bucket.
Not so with Jaguar...
When it came to promoting the new F-Type, Jag decided to do things a bit bigger and teamed up with Ridley Scott Associates (RSA) to shoot a bona-fide short film in Chile's Atacama Desert. The film, named 'Desire', premiered today at a private screening at the Sundance London film and music festival.
Besides featuring the utterly-gorgeous F-Type, whose review you can read here, the film also stars a certain Damian Lewis (of 'Homeland' and 'Band of Brothers' fame), along with Spanish actor Jordi Mollà and American actress Shannyn Sossamon.
