Infiniti has revealed the pricing and specification details for the new Q50 saloon.
The Q50, which was unveiled at the Detroit Motor Show in January, will cost from £27,950 when it goes on sale in the UK later this year.
Poised to take on the likes of the BMW 3 Series and the Audi A4, the Q50 will be available with three trim levels -- SE, Premium and Sport -- and with a choice of two powertrains -- a 2.2-litre diesel engine and a 3.5-litre petrol hybrid power plant.
The diesel engine produces 168bhp and 295lb-ft of torque, returning 64.2mpg and 114g/km of CO2 in the process. The hybrid, meanwhile, develops 359bhp and will hit 62mph in 5.1 seconds, while delivering 45.6mpg and 144g/km of CO2. Both rear- and four-wheel drive variants will be available.
The base-spec SE model in the range boasts 17-inch alloy wheels, LED taillights, keyless entry, dual-zone climate control, a rear view camera, cruise control, stop-start, hill start assist, rain-sensitive wipers and Infiniti's InTouch LCD infotainment system.
Starting from £30,350, Premium models also get heated leather seats, an auto-dimming rear view mirror and a range of addition trim choices.
Top-of-the-range Sport models start from £32,720 and get a redesigned front bumper, 19-inch alloy wheels, aluminium trim and pedals, active lane control, LED lights all round, sports seats and Infiniti's 'Direct Adaptive Steering' system, which changes the weight and feel of the steering.
