The Infiniti Q30 Premium Active Compact is set for a world premiere at this year's International Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

The all-new Q30 is being described as a 'category-breaking' vehicle which will convey an air of 'urban individuality' for those that drive it, due to its unique shape and striking design.

The Q30 concept was released to the world at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, the world premiere of the production version will come exactly two years later, and it looks as though Infiniti have stayed true to the exciting original concept design, which - according to Infiniti - had the "sportiness of a coupe, the roominess of a hatch and the higher stance of a crossover."

“Design is a key pillar of the Infiniti brand – and the new Q30 Active Compact perfectly embodies this approach,” said Infiniti President Roland Krueger. “The Q30 Active Compact delivers the distinctive design, the driving dynamics and the individuality that our customers expect of an Infiniti vehicle. With our first ever entry in the compact car segment, we continue the product offensive and provide additional options for our discerning customers.”

The Q30 will be built in Sunderland, making the UK the fourth country, across three continents to build Infiniti vehicles.

Press days for the Frankfurt Motor Show are on September 15th and 16th. The event will be open to the public from September 17th through to the 27th.
