Increased customer demand for the all-electric Kia e-Niro has forced the Korean manufacturer to up the number of vehicles destined for the UK.
More e-Niros were delivered to UK customers last month than in the whole of 2019, as demand for the 282-mile range EV surged in the first half of this year.
With Kia upping the number of Kia e-Niros for the UK market, the backlog of orders has been eased and customers ordering their car now will be able to expect delivery in September when the new 70-plate registration comes in.
With the equivalent of 201bhp on tap, the latest e-Niro 4 has a combined range of 282 miles and up to 382 miles for city driving. It includes Android AutoM and Apple CarPlay as standard.
