A new engine option has been added to the Hyundai Tucson range, with the introduction of a 139bhp 1.7-litre turbo diesel.
Fitted with a seven-speed double clutch transmission, Hyundai Tucson models with the new engine are available to order priced from £24,570 for the SE trim, rising to £26,695 for the Premium SE. The new power plant provides up to 251 lb/ft of torque at 1,750 to 2,500rpm, while emitting just 129g/km of CO2 and offering 57.6mpg combined. Efficiency is boosted by the standard inclusion of Hyundai’s Integrated Stop & Go system.
The Hyundai Tucson compact SUV boasts a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating, with a body constructed of 51% ultra-high strength steel and features such as Autonomous Emergency Braking with pedestrian recognition, Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Lane Keep Assist System.
