Hyundai's new three-door i30 will make its public debut at the Paris Motor Show later this month.

The three-door boasts sportier styling than its five-door brother, with a sharply-raked beltline, more angular glasshouse and longer front doors.

The i30 gets 16-inch alloy wheels as standard, along with redesigned front and rear bumpers and sportier fog lamp clusters.

The new i30 is available with a choice of four engines with five different power outputs, alongside six-speed manual and automatic gearboxes. The cleanest model in the range is the 1.6-litre diesel which develops 126bhp and emits just 97g/km, entitling it to free road tax and congestion charge exemption.
