Hyundai has released the first pictures of its new generation i30 Wagon model.
The i30 Wagon will make its full public debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month, and joins the existing five-door hatchback in the i30 range.
The i30 wagon's overall length is longer than the five-door hatchback, with boot space growing from 378 litres to 528 litres as a result. With the rear passenger seats folded down, boot capacity rises to 1,642 litres.
It shares many of its styling features with its five-door sister, notably the hexagon-shaped grille, but becomes more individual as you work toward the back of its extended body shell, with a rising swage line running along the side up to the rear lights. The rear features a deep tailgate, and wrap around rear screen.
The i30 Wagon shares the same range of three petrol engines, ranging from 98bhp to 133bhp, as the five-door variant, and comes with Hyundai's five-year unlimited miles warranty, five years' roadside assistance, and five years of vehicle health checks.
Full UK specification and launch details will be confirmed at a later date.
The i30 Wagon will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show on 6th March.
