How many rugby players can fit in a supermini? This is a question Chevrolet aims to answer with its latest publicity stunt.

Chevy is calling on amateur and semi-professional rugby teams to try and squeeze as many of their players as possible into the new Aveo, in the hope of winning kit for their team.

The results will be posted on Chevrolet's Facebook page and the overall winner will be announced at the end of the year. The rules dictate that, in order for the score to be eligible, all body parts must be inside the car and all the doors must be shut.

Shelford Rugby Club from Cambridge were the first to tackle Chevrolet's challenge, managing to squeeze 11 players inside the tiny Aveo.

Rugby teams wanting to 'try' the Aveo challenge should contact Chevrolet for further details.
