The new Honda Civic Tourer will cost from £20,265 when it goes on sale in the UK next month.
For that you get a 1.8-litre petrol model in basic 'S' specification; however, the Civic Tourer will also be available with a diesel engine and a choice of four trim levels.
Honda Civic Tourer details revealed
The 1.8-litre engine is available with both manual and automatic gearboxes and develops 140bhp and 128lb-ft of torque. Honda claims that a combined 45.56mpg in achievable, with CO2 emissions standing at 149g/km.
Also on offer is a 1.6-litre diesel which develops 118bhp and 221lb-ft of torque. 0-62mph takes 10.1 seconds, with a combined economy figure of 74.3mpg and CO2 emissions of just 99g/km, entitling the diesel Civic Tourer to free VED.
Four trim levels will be on offer: S, SE Plus, SR and EX Plus. Entry-level S models come with hands-free Bluetooth telephone, DAB radio, USB connectivity and 16-inch alloy wheels.
Moving up the range, SE Plus models start from £21,950 and get rear parking sensors and 17-inch alloys, while SR customers also get Honda's Adaptive Damper System, front heated seats, a hard-disk drive navigation system and privacy glass. SR models start from £24,350.
Top-of-the-line EX models begin at £26,250 and also get headlight washers, smart entry and start, a sunglasses holder, blue interior ambient lighting and HID headlamps with self-levelling.
The first customer deliveries of the new Civic Tourer will take place in February.
