Citroen will unveil its new and more fuel efficient Berlingo and Dispatch LCV models at the upcoming CV Show, which is taking place between the 24th and 26th of April.
Citroen have decided to focus on eco-friendly engines, which is why it will present the latest Euro 5 Nemo, Berlingo XTR+, two Relay Enterprise panel vans and a Relay Specialist tipper, among other vehicles, as part of a seven vehicle line-up representing the Citroën LCV range.
"The 2012 Berlingo and Dispatch ranges offer further fuel economy gains and emissions reduction benefits. These improvements will put the Berlingo and Dispatch models even further ahead of their competitors," said Scott Michael, Citroën's Commercial Vehicle Operations Manager.
The new Berlingo features a wider grille, new chevron badge and a new headlight layout. In order to improve the aerodynamics, its door mirrors have been restyled, as well as its front end.
Lower emissions
The Berlingo HDi 75 manual L1 625 X, LX and Enterprise vans have a combined cycle fuel economy figure of 55.4mpg, improved from the previous figure of 54.3mpg.
Likewise, it emits lower CO2 emissions of 133g/km - down from 136g/km. However, the fuel economy and emissions of Euro 5 Berlingo Airdream and all Berlingo L2 models remain unchanged.
"The 2012 Berlingo maintains its reputation as the most versatile high cube van range available in the UK" claimed Citroen. The vehicle will be available with a choice of three trim levels and five power trains (1 x petrol & 4 x diesel).
The 2012 Dispatch also come with improved fuel efficiency of up to 6.3% and up to 15g/km emissions reduction, resulting in a total of 168g/km now.
UK car buyers will be able to choose from a range of three different 2012 Dispatches: a HDi 90 manual, a new HDi 95 6-speed manual and a HDi 125 6-speed manual powertrains.
