Fiat has revealed a new limited-run special edition version of the 500, designed to celebrate the 57th anniversary of the car's launch.
The Fiat 500 1957 Edition gets a distinctively retro look, with a number of classic exterior colours on offer. Vintage 16-inch wheels with large hubcaps are also on offer and painted to match the bodywork. Smatterings of chrome at the front and back also hint at the chrome bumpers fitted to the original 500.
On the inside, the 1957 Edition gets leather upholstery unique to the model along with new door panels and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
The car is powered by the 1.4-litre version of Fiat's MultiAir engine and gets a five-speed manual gearbox as standard with a six-speed auto 'box as an option. Sports suspension is included as standard.
The 1957 Edition goes on sale in the US next spring; however, it remains unclear whether Fiat will offer the car in the UK.
