Ferrari is set to debut two new cars at the Geneva Motor Show - the FF four-wheel drive four-seater and a new low-emissions 458 Italia.

The eagerly awaited FF will finally be revealed, and Ferrari claims that the car offers a completely new take on the Grand Tourer theme. The FF's mid-front mounted V12 sends over 650bhp to all four wheels via a double-clutch gearbox and the car should also handle well thanks to 47:53 weight distribution. A cocktail of exotic materials have been used to build the FF and, as such, the new car is astonishingly light, weighing just 1790kg. Not only does this allow the FF to hit 62mph in 3.7 seconds, but it also allows a fuel economy figure of 18mpg - impressive for a four-wheel drive Ferrari.

On the subject of the environment, Ferrari will also reveal a new 458 Italia with what Ferrari calls HELE (High Emotions Low Emissions system). This sees CO2 emissions fall to 275g/km which means that the 458 remains in the highest tax band, M. While it's admirable that Ferrari are thinking of the planet, it's hard to see why they've bothered - the environmentalists are not going to be fooled.

Also on the Ferrari stand at Geneva will be a new 599 GTB Fiorano with the HGTE package and a Ferrari California in Blu Tour De France finish.

The Geneva Motor Show starts on Thursday.
