A road safety campaign has sparked controversy in Australia.

Three euphemistic billboards, one of which tells drivers 'not to drive like a cock', have been erected on a main motorway running between South Australia and Victoria.

The signs have attracted complaints from residents and a prominent MP has called for their removal.

Personally, we think they're great, and would like to see signs like this fitted as standard to BMW dashboards. It's also nice to see road safety being promoted with a bit of humour -- it's difficult to imagine RoSPA taking a similar approach.
