Dacia has announced it will add a fourth model to its UK line-up. The new Logan MCV will go on sale here in Britain later this year, joining the Duster, Sandero and Sandero Stepway.
Dacia product manager Adam Wood said that the Logan MCV "will, in effect, be a Sandero estate." The Logan is already on sale in Dacia's home market of Romania as a saloon (shown above) and a seven-seat estate; however, Dacia will market the car in Britain as a five-seat estate only.
As you can see from the photo, the Logan looks virtually identical to the Sandero from the front end, but it remains to be seen whether it will prove as popular in the UK market.
Dacia has sold more than 4,300 cars in the UK since order books opened last October, including 1,700 Sanderos and 2,600 Dusters.
The Dacia Logan MCV will go on display at the Geneva Motor Show next month.
