Citroen is getting ready for the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, where it plans to showcase a wide range of new models.
The show will see the European debut of the DS5, the third model in Citroen’s DS premium line. Citroen claims that the DS5 is "eye-catching" and "daring" and will be the first Citroen to be offered with a diesel-electric hybrid engine.
Also on display will be the smaller DS4, a car which has won plaudits such as 'Most Beautiful Car of the Year' at the 26th International Automobile Festival and has already secured over 15,000 orders.
An 'Ultra Prestige' version of the DS3 will also be on the stand featuring 17-inch diamond-effect wheels and dark chrome finishing on the mirrors, grille and door strips. A new 'Flower' roof design will also be on show, carrying on from the introduction of new colours to the DS3 range earlier this year.
A DS3 WRC will supplement this line-up. The 300bhp rally car will be supplied by the Citroen Total World Rally Team. The DS3 has won eight of the nine rounds in the WRC season so far.
The Frankfurt Motor Show lasts from 13th September to 25th September.
