Business continues to boom for MG after the Longbridge-based brand recorded their 21st month in a row of rising sales.

July saw MG sell 1,040 cars, a jump of more than a quarter compared to the same month in 2018, cementing its place as the UK’s fastest-growing carmaker.

So far this year sales of MG’s have risen by 44%, and with new models like the ZS compact SUV proving an instant hit with UK buyers the manufacturer has had to expand their dealer network to meet increasing demand.  MG’s network of retailers now stands at 102, and there are plans to add another 18 by the end of next year.  MG are also about the enter the rapidly growing battery-electric vehicle market when the MG ZS EV goes on UK sale next month, priced from just £21,495 courtesy of an introductory offer including a Government plug-in car grant.
